Insulated roller shutters
Put simply, insulated roller shutters are foam-filled twin-wall laths for thermal and noise benefit, measured on site and installed by one team from survey to sign-off.
How it is made
Twin-wall laths are filled with foam, which reduces heat loss and draughts through the opening and takes the edge off street noise. Every installation is tested through its full travel and the safety features are checked at handover.

How much do insulated roller shutters cost?
The entry price is about £1,850 plus VAT. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
How long does it take?
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Fitting a standard your unit is normally one to two days on site. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.

How do payments work?
A deposit is taken when you accept the quotation, a further stage payment on the first day of installation, and the balance on satisfactory completion. The exact split is set out on your quotation.
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of the Midlands?
Yes. We cover your area and the rest of the Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
