Steel shopfronts are heavy-section steel frontages for high-risk or heritage-industrial units. We supply and fit them across the Midlands, with a free survey and a written price first.
What you get
Steel takes an impact that aluminium will not, so it is the usual choice for units that have been targeted before or that sit on a late-night street. Colours are matched to a RAL reference, so a brand colour or a landlord's parade colour can be followed exactly.

How much do steel shopfronts cost?
Budget from £3,600 plus VAT as a starting point. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
How long does it take?
Manufacture usually takes 5-6 weeks after drawing sign-off. Fitting a standard your unit is normally one to two days on site. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.

Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of the Midlands?
Yes. We cover your area and the rest of the Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
